A local chapter of Toastmasters International, Kempsey Toastmasters club offers you, as a member of the club to develop and hone your communication and leadership skills.

The person with strong communication skills has a clear advantage over another who is tongue-tied, especially in a competitive job market. The use of poor language, demonstrates lack of proficiency in communication.  Many people pay thousands of dollars on seminars to gain the skill and confidence necessary to face an audience or to think on their feet without compromise. But another option is less expensive and held in high regard in business circles- Toastmasters International. A Toastmasters club is a “learn-by-doing” workshop. Our mission is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which foster self-confidence and personal growth.  

Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
