Whether you're speaking to the board of directors, your customers, your co-workers or your kids, Toastmasters can help you do it better. The person with strong communication skills has a clear advantage over another who is tongue-tied, especially in a competitive job market. The use of poor language, demonstrates lack of proficiency in communication. Many people pay thousands of dollars on seminars to gain the skill and confidence necessary to face an audience or to think on their feet without compromise. But another option is less expensive and held in high regard in business circles- Toastmasters International. This organisation has been around for more than 80 years and offers a proven and enjoyable way of learning communication and leadership skills. You'll learn and practice in a friendly, comfortable environment with people who are there for the same reason you areto become better communicators.

A Toastmasters club is a learn-by-doing workshop. Our mission is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
